Our work leverages cyberinfrastructure (e.g. high performance computer cluster, GPGPUs, grid computing) in various types of GIS applications.

1. Calibrations of Cellular Automata model based on grid computing technology.

We applied condor in our data- and compute-intensive calibration work. The entire process is decomposed to massive number of sub-tasks to be sent to different computing nodes. Calibration time is significantly saved.
